Zechariah in the Bible

Zechariah urges the returned exiles to finish the temple through eight night visions, and looks beyond them: a king coming lowly on a donkey, thirty pieces of silver, one they pierced, a fountain opened for sin. The Gospels quote him repeatedly in Passion week.
