And it came to pass, when 7346 had established3559 the kingdom4438, and had strengthened2393 himself, he forsook5800 8451 of the LORD3068, and all 3478 with him. And it came to pass, that in the fifth2549 year8141 of king4428 7346 Shishak7895 king4428 of 4714 came up5927 against 3389, because they had transgressed4603 against the LORD3068, With twelve hundred3967 505 chariots7393, and threescore8346 thousand505 horsemen6571: and the people5971 were without number4557 that came935 with him out of 4714; the Lubims3864, the Sukkiims5525, and the 3569. And he took3920 the fenced4694 cities5892 which pertained to 3063, and came935 to 3389. Then came935 Shemaiah8098 the prophet5030 to 7346, and to the princes8269 of 3063, that were gathered together622 to 3389 because6440 of Shishak7895, and said559 unto them, Thus saith559 the LORD3068, Ye have forsaken5800 me, and therefore have I also637 left5800 you in the hand3027 of Shishak7895. Whereupon the princes8269 of 3478 and the king4428 humbled3665 themselves; and they said559, The LORD3068 is righteous6662. And when the LORD3068 saw7200 that they humbled3665 themselves, 1697 of the LORD3068 came to Shemaiah8098, saying559, They have humbled3665 themselves; therefore I will not destroy7843 them, but I will grant5414 them some4592 deliverance6413; and my wrath2534 shall not be poured out5413 upon 3389 by the hand3027 of Shishak7895. some: or, a little while Nevertheless they shall be his servants5650; that they may know3045 my service5656, and the service5656 of the kingdoms4467 of the countries776. So Shishak7895 king4428 of 4714 came up5927 against 3389, and took away3947 the treasures214 of the house1004 of the LORD3068, and the treasures214 of the king's4428 house1004; he took3947 all: he carried away3947 also the shields4043 of gold2091 which 8010 had made6213.
