Then 4124 rebelled6586 against 3478 after310 the death4194 of 256. And Ahaziah274 fell down5307 through a lattice7639 in his upper chamber5944 that was in 8111, and was sick2470: and he sent7971 messengers4397, and said559 unto them, Go3212, enquire1875 of Baalzebub1176 the god430 of 6138 whether I shall recover2421 of this disease2483. But the angel4397 of the LORD3068 said1696 to 452 the Tishbite8664, Arise6965, go up5927 to meet7125 the messengers4397 of the king4428 of 8111, and say1696 unto them, Is it not because there is not a God430 in 3478, that ye go1980 to enquire1875 of Baalzebub1176 the god430 of 6138? Now therefore thus saith559 the LORD3068, Thou shalt not come down3381 from that bed4296 which thou art gone up5927, but shalt surely4191 die4191. And 452 departed3212. Thou shalt: Heb. And he said1696 unto him, Thus saith559 the LORD3068, Forasmuch as thou hast sent7971 messengers4397 to enquire1875 of Baalzebub1176 the god430 of 6138, is it not because there is no God430 in 3478 to enquire1875 of his word1697? therefore thou shalt not come down3381 off that bed4296 which thou art gone up5927, but shalt surely4191 die4191. So he died4191 according to 1697 of the LORD3068 which 452 had spoken1696. And Jehoram3088 reigned4427 in his stead in the second8147 year8141 of Jehoram3088 the son1121 of 3092 king4428 of 3063; because he had no son1121.
