In those days3117 was 2396 sick2470 unto death4191. And the prophet5030 3470 the son1121 of Amoz531 came935 to him, and said559 unto him, Thus saith559 the LORD3068, Set thine house1004 in order6680; for thou shalt die4191, and not live2421. Set: Heb. Give charge concerning thine house Then he turned5437 his face6440 to the wall7023, and prayed6419 unto the LORD3068, saying559, I beseech577 thee, O LORD3068, remember2142 now how I have walked1980 before6440 thee in truth571 and with a perfect8003 heart3824, and have done6213 that which is good2896 in thy sight5869. And 2396 wept1058 1065 sore1419. sore: Heb. with a great weeping And it came to pass, afore 3470 was gone out3318 into the middle8484 court2691 5892, that 1697 of the LORD3068 came to him, saying559, court: or, city Turn again7725, and tell559 2396 the captain5057 of my people5971, Thus saith559 the LORD3068, the God430 of 1732 thy father1, I have heard8085 thy prayer8605, I have seen7200 thy tears1832: behold, I will heal7495 thee: the third7992 day3117 thou shalt go up5927 unto the house1004 of the LORD3068. And I will add3254 unto thy days3117 fifteen2568 6240 years8141; and I will deliver5337 thee and this city5892 out of the hand3709 of the king4428 of 804; and I will defend1598 this city5892 for mine own sake, and for my servant5650 's1732 sake. And 3470 said559, Take3947 a lump1690 of figs8384. And they took3947 and laid7760 it the boil7822, and he recovered2421. And 2396 said559 unto 3470, What shall be the 226 that the LORD3068 will heal7495 me, and that I shall go up5927 into the house1004 of the LORD3068 the third7992 day3117? And 2396 answered559, All the things that are in mine house1004 have they seen7200: there is nothing1697 among my treasures214 that I have not shewed7200 them. And 3470 said559 unto 2396, Hear8085 1697 of the LORD3068. Behold, the days3117 come935, that all that is in thine house1004, and that which thy fathers1 have laid up in store686 unto this day3117, shall be carried5375 into 894: nothing1697 shall be left3498, saith559 the LORD3068. And of thy sons1121 that shall issue3318 from thee, which thou shalt beget3205, shall they take away3947; and they shall be eunuchs5631 in the palace1964 of the king4428 of 894. Then said559 2396 unto 3470, Good2896 is 1697 of the LORD3068 which thou hast spoken1696. And he said559, Is it not good, if peace7965 and truth571 be in my days3117? Is it: or, Shall there not be peace and truth, etc And the rest3499 of the acts1697 of 2396, and all his might1369, and how he made6213 a pool1295, and a conduit8585, and brought935 water4325 into the city5892, are they not written3789 in the book5612 of the chronicles1697 3117 of the kings4428 of 3063? And 2396 slept7901 with his fathers1: and 4519 his son1121 reigned4427 in his stead.
