And there was a famine7458 in the land776, beside905 the first7223 famine7458 that was in the days3117 of 85. And 3327 went3212 unto 40 king4428 of the 6430 unto Gerar1642. And the LORD3068 appeared7200 unto him, and said559, Go not down3381 into 4714; dwell7931 in the land776 which I shall tell559 thee of: Sojourn1481 in this land776, and I will be with thee, and will bless1288 thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed2233, I will give5414 all these411 countries776, and I will perform6965 the oath7621 which I sware7650 unto 85 thy father1; And I will make7235 thy seed2233 to multiply7235 as the stars3556 of heaven8064, and will give5414 unto thy seed2233 all these411 countries776; and in thy seed2233 shall all the nations1471 of the earth776 be blessed1288; Because6118 that 85 obeyed8085 my voice6963, and kept8104 my charge4931, my commandments4687, my statutes2708, and my laws8451. And 3327 dwelt3427 in Gerar1642: And the men582 of the place4725 asked7592 him of his wife802; and he said559, She is my sister269: for he feared3372 to say559, She is my wife802; lest, said he, the men582 of the place4725 should kill2026 me for 7259; because she was fair2896 to look upon4758. And it came to pass, when he had been there a long748 time3117, that 40 king4428 of the 6430 looked out8259 at1157 a window2474, and saw7200, and, behold, 3327 was sporting6711 with 7259 his wife802. And 40 called7121 3327, and said559, Behold, of a surety389 she is thy wife802: and how saidst559 thou, She is my sister269? And 3327 said559 unto him, Because I said559, Lest I die4191 for her. And 40 said559, What is this thou hast done6213 unto us? one259 of the people5971 might lightly4592 have lien7901 with thy wife802, and thou shouldest have brought935 guiltiness817 upon us. And 40 charged6680 all his people5971, saying559, He that toucheth5060 this man376 or his wife802 shall surely4191 be to death4191. And 40 said559 unto 3327, Go3212 from us; for thou art much3966 mightier6105 than we. And 3327 departed3212 thence, and pitched his tent2583 in the valley5158 of Gerar1642, and dwelt3427 there8033. And 3327 digged2658 again7725 the wells875 of water4325, which they had digged2658 in the days3117 of 85 his father1; for the 6430 had stopped5640 them after310 the death4194 of 85: and he called7121 their names8034 after the names8034 by which834 his father1 had called7121 them. And they said559, We saw7200 certainly7200 that the LORD3068 was with thee: and we said559, Let there be now an oath423 betwixt996 us, even betwixt996 us and thee, and let us make3772 a 1285 with thee; We saw: Heb.
