And it came to pass at the end7093 of two full3117 years8141, that 6547 dreamed2492: and, behold, he stood5975 by the river2975. And, behold, there came up5927 out of the river2975 seven7651 3303 favoured4758 kine6510 and fatfleshed1277 1320; and they fed7462 in a meadow260. And, behold, seven7651 other312 kine6510 came up5927 after them310 out of the river2975, ill7451 favoured4758 and leanfleshed1851 1320; and stood5975 by681 the other kine6510 upon the brink8193 of the river2975. And the ill7451 favoured4758 and leanfleshed1851 1320 kine6510 did eat up398 the seven7651 3303 favoured4758 and fat1277 kine6510. So 6547 awoke3364. And he slept3462 and dreamed2492 the second time8145: and, behold, seven7651 ears of corn7641 came up5927 upon one259 stalk7070, rank1277 and good2896. rank: Heb. fat And, behold, seven7651 thin1851 ears7641 and blasted7710 with the east wind6921 sprung up6779 after them310. And the seven thin1851 ears7641 devoured1104 the seven7651 rank1277 and full4392 ears7641. And 6547 awoke3364, and, behold, it was a 2472. And it came to pass in the morning1242 that his spirit7307 was troubled6470; and he sent7971 and called7121 for all the magicians2748 of 4714, and all the wise men2450 thereof: and 6547 told5608 them his 2472; but there was none that could interpret6622 them unto 6547. Then spake1696 the chief8269 butler8248 unto 6547, saying559, I do remember2142 my faults2399 this day3117: 6547 was wroth7107 with his servants5650, and 5414 me in ward4929 in the captain8269 of the guard's2876 house1004, both me and the chief8269 baker644: And we dreamed2492 a 2472 in one259 night3915, I and he; we dreamed2492 each man376 according to the interpretation6623 of his 2472. And there was there with us a young man5288, an Hebrew5680, servant5650 to the captain8269 of the guard2876; and we told5608 him, and he interpreted6622 to us our dreams2472; to each man376 according to his 2472 he did interpret6622. And it came to pass, as he interpreted6622 to us, so it was; me he restored7725 unto mine office3653, and him he hanged8518. Then 6547 sent7971 and called7121 3130, and they brought him hastily7323 out of the dungeon953: and he shaved1548 himself, and changed2498 his raiment8071, and came in935 unto 6547. brought: Heb. made him run And 6547 said559 unto 3130, I have dreamed2492 a 2472, and there is none that can interpret6622 it: and I have heard8085 say559 of thee, that thou canst understand8085 a 2472 to interpret6622 it. thou: or, when thou hearest a thou canst interpret it And 3130 answered6030 6547, saying559, It is not in me1107: God430 shall give6030 6547 an answer6030 of peace7965. And 6547 said1696 unto 3130, In my 2472, behold, I stood5975 upon the bank8193 of the river2975: And, behold, there came up5927 out of the river2975 seven7651 kine6510, fatfleshed1277 1320 and 3303 favoured8389; and they fed7462 in a meadow260: And, behold, seven7651 other312 kine6510 came up5927 after them310, poor1803 and very3966 ill7451 favoured8389 and leanfleshed7534 1320, such2007 as I never3808 saw7200 in all the land776 of 4714 for badness7455: And the lean7534 and the ill favoured7451 kine6510 did eat up398 the first7223 seven7651 fat1277 kine6510: And when they had eaten them up935 7130, it could not be known3045 that they had eaten them935 7130; but they were still4758 ill favoured7451, as at the beginning8462. So I awoke3364. eaten: Heb. come to the inward parts of them And I saw7200 in my 2472, and, behold, seven7651 ears7641 came up5927 in one259 stalk7070, full4392 and good2896: And, behold, seven7651 ears7641, withered6798, thin1851, and blasted7710 with the east wind6921, sprung up6779 after them310: withered: or, small And the thin1851 ears7641 devoured1104 the seven7651 good2896 ears7641: and I told559 this unto the magicians2748; but there was none that could declare5046 it to me. And 3130 said559 unto 6547, The 2472 of 6547 is one259: God430 hath shewed5046 6547 what he is about to do6213. The seven7651 good2896 kine6510 are seven7651 years8141; and the seven7651 good2896 ears7641 are seven7651 years8141: the 2472 is one259. And the seven7651 thin7534 and ill favoured7451 kine6510 that came up5927 after them310 are seven7651 years8141; and the seven7651 empty7386 ears7641 blasted7710 with the east wind6921 shall be seven7651 years8141 of famine7458. This is the thing1697 which I have spoken1696 unto 6547: What God430 is about to do6213 he sheweth7200 unto 6547. Behold, there come935 seven7651 years8141 of great1419 plenty7647 throughout all the land776 of 4714: And there shall arise6965 after them310 seven7651 years8141 of famine7458; and all the plenty7647 shall be forgotten7911 in the land776 of 4714; and the famine7458 shall consume3615 the land776; And the plenty7647 shall not be known3045 in the land776 by reason6440 of that famine7458 following310 3651; for it shall be very3966 grievous3515. grievous: Heb. heavy And for that the 2472 was doubled8138 unto 6547 twice6471; it is because the thing1697 is established3559 by5973 God430, and God430 will shortly4116 bring it to pass6213. established: or, prepared of God Now therefore let 6547 look out7200 a man376 discreet995 and wise2450, and set7896 him over the land776 of 4714. And that food400 shall be for store6487 to the land776 against the seven7651 years8141 of famine7458, which shall be in the land776 of 4714; that the land776 perish3772 not through the famine7458. perish: Heb. be not cut off And the thing1697 was good3190 in the eyes5869 of 6547, and in the eyes5869 of all his servants5650. And 6547 said559 unto his servants5650, Can we find4672 such a one as this2088 is, a man376 in whom834 the Spirit7307 of God430 is? And 6547 said559 unto 3130, Forasmuch310 as God430 hath shewed3045 thee all this, there is none so discreet995 and wise2450 as thou art: Thou shalt be1961 over my house1004, and according unto thy word6310 shall all my people5971 be ruled5401: only in the throne3678 will I be greater1431 than thou. be ruled: Heb. be armed, or, kiss And 6547 said559 unto 3130, See7200, I have set5414 thee over all the land776 of 4714. And 6547 called7121 's3130 name8034 Zaphnathpaaneah6847; and he gave5414 him to wife802 621 the daughter1323 of Potipherah6319 priest3548 of 204. And 3130 went out3318 over all the land776 of 4714.
