In the beginning7225 of the reign4468 of 3079 the son1121 of 2977 king4428 of 3063 came this word1697 from the LORD3068, saying559, Thus saith559 the LORD3068; Stand5975 in the court2691 of the LORD'S3068 house1004, and speak1696 unto all the cities5892 of 3063, which come935 to worship7812 in the LORD'S3068 house1004, all the words1697 that I command6680 thee to speak1696 unto them; diminish1639 not a word1697: If so be they will hearken8085, and turn7725 every man376 from his evil7451 way1870, that I may repent5162 me of the evil7451, which I purpose2803 to do6213 unto them because6440 of the evil7455 of their doings4611. And thou shalt say559 unto them, Thus saith559 the LORD3068; If ye will not hearken8085 to me, to walk3212 in my law8451, which I have set5414 before6440 you, To hearken8085 to the words1697 of my servants5650 the prophets5030, whom I sent7971 unto you, both rising up early7925, and sending7971 them, but ye have not hearkened8085; Then will I make5414 this house1004 like 7887, and will make5414 this city5892 a curse7045 to all the nations1471 of the earth776. So the priests3548 and the prophets5030 and all the people5971 heard8085 3414 speaking1696 these words1697 in the house1004 of the LORD3068. Now it came to pass, when 3414 had made an end3615 of speaking1696 all that the LORD3068 had commanded6680 him to speak1696 unto all the people5971, that the priests3548 and the prophets5030 and all the people5971 took8610 him, saying559, Thou shalt surely4191 die4191. Why hast thou prophesied5012 in the name8034 of the LORD3068, saying559, This house1004 shall be like 7887, and this city5892 shall be desolate2717 without an inhabitant3427? And all the people5971 were gathered6950 against 3414 in the house1004 of the LORD3068. When the princes8269 of 3063 heard8085 these things1697, then they came up5927 from the king's4428 house1004 unto the house1004 of the LORD3068, and sat down3427 in the entry6607 of the new2319 gate8179 of the LORD'S3068 house. in the: or, at the door Then spake559 the priests3548 and the prophets5030 unto the princes8269 and to all the people5971, saying559, This man376 is worthy4941 to die4194; for he hath prophesied5012 against this city5892, as ye have heard8085 with your ears241. Therefore now amend3190 your ways1870 and your doings4611, and obey8085 the voice6963 of the LORD3068 your God430; and the LORD3068 will repent5162 him of the evil7451 that he hath pronounced1696 against you.
