And 5070 and 30, the sons1121 of 175, took3947 either376 of them his 4289, and 5414 fire784 therein2004, and 7760 incense7004 thereon, and offered7126 strange2114 fire784 before6440 the LORD3068, which he commanded6680 them not. And there went out3318 fire784 from the LORD3068, and devoured398 them, and they died4191 before6440 the LORD3068. Then 4872 said559 unto 175, This is it that the LORD3068 spake1696, saying559, I will be sanctified6942 in them that come nigh7138 me, and before6440 all the people5971 I will be glorified3513. And 175 held his peace1826. And 4872 called7121 Mishael4332 and Elzaphan469, the sons1121 of Uzziel5816 the uncle1730 of 175, and said559 unto them, Come near7126, carry5375 your brethren251 from before6440 6944 out2351 of the camp4264. So they went near7126, and carried5375 them in their coats3801 out2351 of the camp4264; as 4872 had said1696. And 4872 said559 unto 175, and unto 499 and unto Ithamar385, his sons1121, Uncover6544 not your heads7218, neither rend6533 your clothes899; lest ye die4191, and lest wrath7107 come upon all the people5712: but let your brethren251, the whole house1004 of 3478, bewail1058 the burning8316 which the LORD3068 hath kindled8313. And 4872 diligently1875 sought1875 the 8163 of the 2403, and, behold, it was burnt8313: and he was angry7107 with 499 and Ithamar385, the sons1121 of 175 which were left3498 alive, saying559, Wherefore have ye not eaten398 the 2403 in the holy6944 place4725, seeing it is most6944 holy6944, and God hath given5414 it you to 5375 the iniquity5771 of the congregation5712, to make 3722 for them before6440 the LORD3068? Behold2005, the blood1818 of it was not brought935 in within6441 the holy6944 place: ye should indeed398 have eaten398 it in the holy6944 place, as I commanded6680. And 175 said1696 unto 4872, Behold, this day3117 have they offered7126 their 2403 and their 5930 before6440 the LORD3068; and such things have befallen7122 me: and if I had eaten398 the 2403 to day3117, should it have been accepted3190 in the sight5869 of the LORD3068? And when 4872 heard8085 that, he was content3190 5869.
