Now the children1121 of 7205 and the children1121 of 1410 had a very3966 great6099 multitude7227 of cattle4735: and when they saw7200 the land776 of Jazer3270, and the land776 of 1568, that, behold, the place4725 was a place4725 for cattle4735; The children1121 of 1410 and the children1121 of 7205 came935 and spake559 unto 4872, and to 499 the priest3548, and unto the princes5387 of the congregation5712, saying559, Ataroth5852, and Dibon1769, and Jazer3270, and Nimrah5247, and Heshbon2809, and Elealeh500, and Shebam7643, and Nebo5015, and Beon1194, Even the country776 which the LORD3068 smote5221 before6440 the congregation5712 of 3478, is a land776 for cattle4735, and thy servants5650 have cattle4735: Wherefore, said559 they, if we have found4672 2580 in thy sight5869, let this land776 be given5414 unto thy servants5650 for a possession272, and bring us not over5674 3383. And 4872 said559 unto the children1121 of 1410 and to the children1121 of 7205, Shall your brethren251 go935 to war4421, and shall ye sit3427 here? And the children1121 of 1410 built1129 Dibon1769, and Ataroth5852, and Aroer6177, And , Shophan5855, and Jaazer3270, and Jogbehah3011, And Bethnimrah1039, and Bethharan1028, fenced4013 cities5892: and folds1448 for 6629. And the children1121 of 7205 built1129 Heshbon2809, and Elealeh500, and Kirjathaim7156, And Nebo5015, and Baalmeon1186, (their names8034 being changed4142,) and Shibmah7643: and gave7121 other names8034 8034 unto the cities5892 which they builded1129. gave: Heb. they called by names the names of the cities And the children1121 of Machir4353 the son1121 of 4519 went3212 to 1568, and took3920 it, and dispossessed3423 the Amorite567 which was in it. And 4872 gave5414 1568 unto Machir4353 the son1121 of 4519; and he dwelt3427 therein. And Jair2971 the son1121 of 4519 went1980 and took3920 the small towns2333 thereof, and called7121 them Havothjair2334. And Nobah5025 went1980 and took3920 Kenath7079, and the villages1323 thereof, and called7121 it Nobah5025, after his own name8034.
