And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto 4872, saying559, Speak1696 unto 175, and say559 unto him, When thou lightest5927 the lamps5216, the seven7651 lamps5216 shall give light215 over against6440 4136 the candlestick4501. And 175 did6213 so; he lighted5927 the lamps5216 thereof over against4136 6440 the candlestick4501, as the LORD3068 commanded6680 4872. And this work4639 of the candlestick4501 was of beaten4749 gold2091, unto the shaft3409 thereof, unto the flowers6525 thereof, was beaten work4749: according unto the pattern4758 which the LORD3068 had shewed7200 4872, so he made6213 the candlestick4501. And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto 4872, saying559, Take3947 the 3881 from among8432 the children1121 of 3478, and cleanse2891 them. And thus shalt thou do6213 unto them, to cleanse2891 them: Sprinkle5137 water4325 of purifying2403 upon them, and let them shave8593 5674 all their flesh1320, and let them wash3526 their clothes899, and so make themselves clean2891. let them shave: Heb. let them cause a razor to pass over, etc Then let them take3947 a young1121 1241 bullock6499 with his meat offering4503, even fine flour5560 mingled1101 with oil8081, and another8145 young1121 1241 bullock6499 shalt thou take3947 for a 2403. For all the firstborn1060 of the children1121 of 3478 are mine, both man120 and beast929: the day3117 that I smote5221 every firstborn1060 in the land776 of 4714 I sanctified6942 them for myself. And I have taken3947 the 3881 for all the firstborn1060 of the children1121 of 3478. And I have given5414 the 3881 as a gift5414 to 175 and to his sons1121 from among8432 the children1121 of 3478, to do5647 the service5656 of the children1121 of 3478 in the 168 of the congregation4150, and to make an 3722 for the children1121 of 3478: that there be no plague5063 among the children1121 of 3478, when the children1121 of 3478 come nigh5066 unto 6944. a gift: Heb. given And 4872, and 175, and all the congregation5712 of the children1121 of 3478, did6213 to the 3881 according unto all that the LORD3068 commanded6680 4872 concerning the 3881, so did6213 the children1121 of 3478 unto them. And the 3881 were purified2398, and they washed3526 their clothes899; and 175 offered5130 them as an offering8573 before6440 the LORD3068; and 175 made an 3722 for them to cleanse2891 them. And after310 that went935 the 3881 in to do5647 their service5656 in the 168 of the congregation4150 before6440 175, and before6440 his sons1121: as the LORD3068 had commanded6680 4872 concerning the 3881, so did6213 they unto them. And the LORD3068 spake1696 unto 4872, saying559, This is it that belongeth unto the 3881: from twenty6242 and five2568 years8141 old1121 and upward4605 they shall go in935 to wait6633 6635 upon the service5656 of the 168 of the congregation4150: to: Heb. to war the warfare of, etc And from the age1121 of fifty2572 years8141 they shall cease7725 waiting6635 upon the service5656 thereof, and shall serve5647 no more: cease: Heb. return from the warfare of the service But shall minister8334 with their brethren251 in the 168 of the congregation4150, to keep8104 the charge4931, and shall do5647 no service5656. Thus shalt thou do6213 unto the 3881 touching their charge4931.
