Jehu in the Bible

Anointed by one of Elisha's men, Jehu drives to Jezreel "furiously", kills two kings and Jezebel, and wipes out Baal worship with a violence Hosea later names as guilt. The Black Obelisk of Shalmaneser III shows a king labelled Jehu bowing to Assyria.
